The new Millennium Zodiac is making a pre-launch debut in the 2025 Las Vegas Challenge players pack. The Zodiac is a 10-speed driver for the masses. With ratings of 10/6/-1/2, this distance driver can work for all types of players.
This disc was the 2nd iteration of the Millennium’s Experimental Series (the ES2), released at the 2024 USDGC. Due to extremely positive feedback from users and our fans, its release as the Zodiac will award this mold a permanent spot in the Millennium line up.
The ES2 dawned a QR code with a survey for Millennium to gauge user feedback and test results of this prototype run. Let the feedback speak for itself:
- Compared to other 10-speed drivers 68% of users rated the ES2 as getting farther distance, with 78% of users rating it as more controllable.
- 92% of users were highly satisfied with the ES2, with 86% feeling strongly that it fits a great spot in the Millennium line.
- Top-3 favorite characteristics about the ES2 were:
- 1) Feel of the mold in hand
- 2) Control
- 3) Glide
- Here are the common themes from how our testers described the ES2 in their own words:
- “The feel of the disc is so comfortable to the point I feel comfortable throwing it and trusting the angles.”
- “It pushes well on hard flat throws. It’s torque resistant and glides on anny but doesn’t burn over. It didn’t seem like it would turn and roll out even at high speeds with lower shots.”
- “Very controllable flight when you need to be accurate but still bomb.
- “I love how it handles power. It goes as flat as you throw it and it has great glide to fade ratio.”
- “How it feels like a PD but it is a little bit less stable, sort of more like a beat up PD.”
- “Hand feel and ease of throwing are great.”
- “It fits between the Scorpius and Orion’s in the Millennium line.”
- When asked which mold the ES2 would replace in the bag of our testers, the most common named molds were:
