My name is Danny Nez. I have been playing disc golf since I was 13 years old, I am now 26 years old. I have been throwing Millennium plastic as long I have been playing (roughly 13 years). The reason I love your plastic so much is because of my brother. He was an avid and very talented disc golfer who taught me everything I know about the game and how I play. The first three discs I ever played with which he gave me and still remain in my bag are the omega supersoft, qms, and qjls. Unfortunately when I was 15 my brother was hit by a drunk driver which rendered him a quadriplegic. It was a very difficult time for my family and I. He is now 32 years old and alive and well under our care, and still zealously loves the game. As I grew older I maintained my love for the game and began to take it seriously after I graduated college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers! After attending Law School at the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities, I moved to the Asheville area where my game has really developed. I love the clubs I am a part of here (Western North Carolina Disc Golf Association and the Hub City Disc Golf Club). I do a lot of charity work and course installations along with events with the club to grow the sport of disc golf. In fact, we just designed and installed an amazing course in Jackson Park, Hendersonville, NC.
I believe in your M.O. of playing smart and keeping it simple--best way to turn in low scores.
